1. Can the Ronch 240 MAX be used for TIG welding aluminum?
It is not ideal. This equipment is DC TIG (Lift); AC/DC TIG is recommended for aluminum. If aluminum welding is sporadic, consider alternative processes; if it is frequent, choose an AC/DC model.

VRD reduces the open-circuit voltage when there is no arc, providing greater safety when working with electrodes, especially in humid or hazardous environments.
